Financial Evolution in Excel with XBRLAnalyst

We would like to share with you some great news about SEC and Financial Evolution happending today and fully supported by XBRLAnalyst for Excel.

Recently, SEC announced that it starts accepting Inline-XBRL. You may wonder what this means to the world of financial analysis. In two words, low cost and highly consistent easily accessible financial data. There will be no more separation between HTML and XBRL reports, which resulted in various inconsistencies in reported data. With iXBRL, every filer will be submitting to SEC only one document per financial 10-K or 10-Q filing. That will bring together the benefits of both worlds: reliableaudited financials reported in HTML as well as easily accessible data for financial analysis in Excel.

The first example was filed by LENNAR CORP on July 1. XBRLAnalyst fully supports Inline XBRL and seamlessly brings it in Excel. You will have easy access to XBRL data in Excel as before although it will be much better data then before.
